Spent most of the afternoon taking the carbs off of a GPZ900R that hasn't run for 18 years. Finally got them off. Didn't want to waste a nice day so took the KH 400 for a short run to High Beach to warm up the engine. Forgot to take a picture.

this incredible picture was made yestrerday june 5th when I was going to the monthly old bikes meeting on Vincennes near paris. The picture has been found by Pierrot974 who posts it on the french forum
But could't find petrol as the first petrol station near the river La Seine was closed because the floods and the second has no more petrol just gas-oil because the strikes :!:
As was already in reserve come back home. Have still petrol on my H2B but prefer keep it as am not sure to find petrol next days cause the strikes and don't like use tube or bus peculiar when they're on strikes and some out of order because the floods :D

Image

usually the water is 6.10 meters less higher than you can see it on the picture. no real troubles in Paris but before was an other story.

I find petrol this morning :smt002

Wish you'd chuck that bleedin phone Sam.. or sort out your cameraman. I think you had a good night on Triples, other pics look like it was..

Tuesday:- I rode all of em up to the Sloop and back just to get some miles and check out tomorrows Rally venue, then yesterday and today I went to work on the big one.. and this evening called in at Starbucks with theTwo Stroker guys, then onto Redneck Cafe and James (Mitsui) was waiting for us.

The only breakdown of the evening was.. a Bug eyed Triumph..

Befor we set off in a Squires-ey direction..

I've been working on and off for a few months on the 666 to give it a makeover. Got tatty after 11 years. It's now done apart from the pipes at the rear end. We are off to the north west at the weekend to sort. Pics and news will appear in a club mag in the future.

Cheers JP, as soon as the Morphine wore off, the previous nights excruciating stomach pain had gone .. seems like I'm a medical mystery..

By the time I took that pic my weird sense of humour had returned, I should have asked them to check for rat poison or strychnine in my food..
