Any thoughts on Hagon shocks?
My H2c original rear shock absorbers look great but I the damping in them has gone and the back end it a bit boingy when riding lively especially on the fast but bumpy roads round my way. I've met quite a few members who have Hagons fitted and say they really make a difference. Been on their site and there is quite a choice. I was going to go for the set with the top chrome shrouds - just because they are more like the originals but thought I'd post up here and ask what opinions are because there is also a set with some damping adjustment which, although not period, might make a lot of sense to a real road rider rather than someone trying to make everything look totally original (like myself).
What did the original 1975 UK spec shocks look like? Did they have a shroud or was that just for the US market so they could put reflectors on them?
Any experience or comments?

hagon will build you more or less what you want,I have a set of upside down ones with ten preload settings on my h1,and the same on my h2 although these ones were built the right way up with narrower springs. They really make a big difference and sort out the end.

Hagons are excellent shocks.
I`d go for the all chrome style , with no top shrouds. a la uk 75 range .

Used Hagons on several bikes - phone them up and they will advise on Spring rates and make them up to suit
