50th year of the H2 clebrations
EDIT - SEE HERE FOR BOOKING DETAILS https://forum.kawasakitriplesclub.com/v ... hp?t=19837
Following the success of the Spa weekend a decade ago, I have been looking long and hard into booking a race track in the U.K. for a similar event. I ("we" Paul Davies and myself) have been trying several tracks in South Wales as they are somewhat user friendly and cheaper. However, After contacting the VMCC, I am told that are holding their festival of 1,000 bikes at Mallory Park on July 16th weekend and would love to have us along.
I've had a few discussions with them and the general format is Saturday will be parade laps and the heats for actual racing on Sunday. I am in discussions for having an exclusive parade on the Saturday just for the Kawasaki Triples.
Sunday will be race only, but again, I am discussing having an actual race for JUST Japanese 2 strokes, this will be a pay to enter event but I am hoping that due to the small number of entrants on the Sunday that the Club will sponsor an pay for the likes of Malc on his H1r (OK thats a joke, just Saturday parade then) , Stephen on his H2r and Kerry on his . . . . whatever it will be converted into by then! And ANY other CLUB MEMBER that has a 2 stroke track bike he wishes to race.
Your thoughts Please

I did the Festival of 1000 Bikes in 2019, with a few other club members and it was a great weekend.
And was hoping to do it again last year, but . . . . .
Unfortunately I will be in Norway through July, another tour deferred from this summer.

Yeah I’m up for it.
2012 was a fantastic event, that’s me on the 72 H2.
So good I went the year after, on my KH400.

I'm up for this, and I see that there's no requirement for pre-1975 race machines to have silencers ...
It's not clear that they are holding actual races on the Sunday though, just race machines only on Sunday. Unless El Presidente has worked some magic. Or twisted some arms ...
