Fuel running through vacuum pipe ,?
Hiya all , my 1975 H1f has developed a weird fuel fault , turn the petrol on and it gushes through the vacuum pipe and then all over the bloody engine and pretty quickly the garage floor , anyone rose had this happen ? The only thing I can think of is a fault with the fuel tap ? Any ideas welcome , thanks in advance .

If its the original fuel tap then chances are the rubber has split inside causing this fault to happen. You can buy repair kits or send it to Mark Speight.....aka Tangoman on this forum and he will convert it to a non vacuum style tap.....problem solved forever
