Indicator earths & Tailgate rubbers

Post by Mike Steer »

1972 H2

A little help please. Do the rubbers in the picture fit into the tailgate or are they pushed through the number plate bracket. The cycle parts on this project were largely a box of bits and I haven't got clear enough pictures to determine their original fitting. I'm using the free Parts Book downloads from Z Power as a reference. Likewise with the rear indicator earth plates. I can't see clearly where they locate in the fitting sequence.

TIA. Pics would be good

As above. They provide the ground circuit to the body of the Indicator by bypassing the rubber mounting.

If I remember correctly, the 2 smaller rubbers mount on the tailpiece & the large rubber mounts on the tail lamp bracket
