H2 inspection

So got a letter from the DVLA now I gotta take my H2 for inspection, any tips?

I figured the tester might be a biker and just wants to see a H2..

No reason given, they just say they now need to see it, its not been registered in the uk before. Why would they want to see it?

Every bike i've had to register, dvla wants to see, they just look at the chassis and engine numbers, only takes a few moments.
nothing to worry about. just a pain to get there

had one inspected a few months ago

yes that's the frame number

yes that is the engine number

yes they match what you have given us on the form

you will have a reg no. in the post in 5 days

Took my Z1(from Florida) last week for its inspection. It lasted about thirty seconds. A bloke with a clipboard came out and wrote down the engine and frame numbers and that was it. Three days later I had a letter with the new number and a tax disc.

Have you ridden it Steve??? People keep telling me that z1's are a disappointent after a triple,performance wise.

I dont think you can compare triples with Zeds because they are chalk and cheese. I love the Z1 for its charisma and kudos

but if I want to go for a hooligan ride then I would go on my triple. I had never ridden a Z1 until a few weeks ago and I have to say its fairly quick and I was expecting it to handle realy badly which it doesnt seem to. Overall I am realy pleased with it but a lot of that is to do with the looks and style which just "does it" for me. Its also one of the safest ways to invest money....

Got agee" been riding my zed lately, is got grunt, but for sheer exilaration, the H2 is awsome , the noise is un-rivaled in the biking world

Yep, they always want to look but I ask why? Every import I've had since the 90s. This visual inspection consists of asking where the engine and frame numbers are, looking at them at that's it. On the odd occasion they've walked all round the bike. Perhaps the only exercise they get all day!

Very strange to me, nobody asked to see mine when it came in from states I just MOT'd it and took my insurance cert to the local dvla office.Then 3 days later i got my reg number.
