He told Bill and me on saturday that he had been offered 10k for it a while back..
Incidentally i spoke to the owner after the sale who said his Yam had failed to get a bid of 1500quid.

There were plenty of bargains in the sale and even vincents and broughs have eased back now...

And this glorious, unrestored recently discovered timewarp SS80 for only £100,500

Yes I noticed there was an absolute deluge of Vincents here and apart from one at £51k the prices certainly seemed to have eased a tiny bit on some machines. It must be the recent strong prices bringing out all these new "tryers" to the market and the old over supply against demand coming into play. So maybe it would be best to hang on before sending another into the sales arena soon.

Copy and paste the web address of the web page you want, then highlight it and click the right hand button in the bar of buttons above this box, marked URL. And there you have it, simples for even the simplest of us.Eric wrote:Nothing about the auction just some guidance, how do you copy the web sites onto here, the same regarding ebay listings. OK just take it easy, I`m thick and a bit on the advanced age side

The moby dick brough had a guide price of 240-280,00 and the ss80 had been hawked about recently i believe for the 125k mark.
This was a good starter brough and hardly extravagant if you have aspirations to turn in those circles.
