Has anybody bought the replica early h1 pipes from jim lomas & if so whats the quality like compared to doremi ?

Wow thats almost half the price of Doremis Pete!! IF they are any good I would have a set and I know Nick Joy would too!! I know it don't include hardware or downpipes but we have them

Whats the score with import tax from Czech Repuplic???

Just got outbid on a complete h1a engine....with early kickstart

I contacted the company a few years back about building Damians pipes. I was told they needed the bike for 4 days and would build them as a one off. They suggested I bring the bike down and stay in a b and b and trail it back. They look like fabulous pipes. On reflection, I wish I had done it.

I've emailed them to see if they have got some hidef images of the brackets & rear of the pipes etc . I will only buy them if there 99.9 percent as originals, if not I will go doremi .... As for paint I think i'll be calling mr brett for that one

Yeah they did my h1d wheels many moons ago.. still straight & true ! do your rims have made in england on them tho ? have sent my 69 rims to the chromers now so no going back & hopefully they wont polish out the date codes

I used to do a bit of part time work for Jim Lomas (JL exhausts) back in the early 80s when he was based at Snetterton circuit and I can honestly say that the pipes he produced at that time (mainly race pipes for TZs RGs etc) were like handmade works of art. I would be very surprised if his replica pipes were any less than things of beauty.
No I am not on commision.

Not had any close up pics of em yet... Pics on site look good but the baffles look like h1b copies....quality of his stuff looks great tho... Suprised no ones bought a set already...
