Ripped off on ebay
I am so pissed off. I bid and won a set of H2 Dencos on ebay last night. Was amazed that i got them for £122.00, paid straight away with paypal. Ten minutes later got a message from ebay saying seller had cancelled the tranaction, i emailed the seller saying i expected them to give them to me as i had bid and won them in good faith. I then got a long ranting email from the seller calling me a nasty piece of work and that they would never give them to me anyway. Apparantly her husband had ordered some new chrome expansions but had not received them, so was cancelling me having the old ones. I am wondering if they did,nt get enough for them and thats why they cancelled after the sale.
They live in Ashford, Kent and the user name is mgnut13. Also they are not responding to my messages.

Kev if you won them and they cancelled the transaction "after" the auction ended then you have a case...............if you can be arsed cos it takes forever to get anywhere with this sort of cxxp. You hit the nail on the head when you said he did'nt get a big enough bid on them...........then got his missus to front a bullshit story. Happened to me a few years ago with some stone flagstones
so just left shit feedback and water under the bridge etc etc. Ebay is great when both sides are decent people BUT it ain't always the case

Some of the comments in their feedback, and also the q&a in their cancelled quad bike sale hint at a bit of instability there - too readily accusing others of being offensive.
A sale is a sale, and by going to auction it is just a gamble on the price the item goes for. You should pursue them to be honourable and honest.

Kev sorry to hear this mate but we have all suffered this im afraid. It's his fault for not putting a reserve on or starting the bidding higher. You maywell have a good case to take this further?Kev wrote:I am so pissed off. I bid and won a set of H2 Dencos on ebay last night. Like Del say, he should set a reserve to guarantee that he got what he wanted for them. He probably thought he'd save the reserve fee and that the pipes would go high anyway. I'd sell the pipes for a quid if I ended up in a situation like that as a seller.
