The event was a bit of a disaster for me as I arrived to find my H2c laid on its side in my trailer with the contents of its engine all over my bedding
Thank god there was no damage as the bike landed on my now oil soaked mattress
So nowhere to sleep apart from the back of my car, which totally fkd my already "bad" back, so because of that and other stuff I didn't participate in the parade ride
Twas great to see all the lads check out the stunning bikes, have a few beers sup some tea and talk lots of bollox.

Rog, You should have called me. I had a nice comfy room at the Hinkley Island hotel.....with a spare bed ...........not that I want to piss you off or anything Don't know how I did'nt see you, you must have been hiding.
A Great weekend took the H1R rep and the RGV500, did'nt manage to get a ride thanks to the armband merchants at the VMCC, but some great bikes and on track action, Schwantz still has it banging in some 51 second laps on the RGV and some fairing bashing between Hodsgon and Foggy going into devils elbow, I don't think they have ever liked each other and it showed, plus a great display by Rymer, Simpson and Nation on the rotary JPS Nortons
Just a Great BIG Thankyou to all at Mallory Park over the Weekend for giving me a smashing time - No matter how cheesed off with life you are if you just go to one of these meets it puts everything into context - Excellent like minded Nutters & Bikes
Many thanks to Ade & Simon for sowing the seed for Mallory in the first place & a Blue Peter Badge award goes out to Gerald who orgainised the Event but especially for his Master Stroke of renting the Marquee - It was all erected (Rude Word ) for us on arrival & as it was absolutely throwing it down on the Friday gave us immediate Refuge from the Elements!
The Highlight though was Lapping the Circuit on a little 250 & running rings around Bigger British Bikes - Not on the Straights of course but around the Twisties! - Who said Triples do not handle!?
Racer of the Event for me was Dave Croxford - He was Immaculate - Just like the Seventies all over again! - His Norton Commando was the best ever sounding Twin that I have ever heard!
Hope to see you all next Year - If you did not come then you missed something very Special!
Well said Keith.It was a fabulous weekend.
The highlight for me also was the track action.Everyone who rode were later seen wearing permanent cheshire cat grins.
A big up for Gerald for being progressive in his thinking and all his hard work,as ever,behind the scenes, along with all the other members who attended and helped.
The stand looked great and the beautiful bikes displayed were really drawing the crowds.
I am already counting down to next years event..
Glad to see everyone having a good time. Thanks to all who braved the weather, took part or helped out in one way or another. When we arrived on Friday in the rain, I was a bit worried it would be a wash-out, but we only had a few showers over the weekend, so all was well, other than a bit of mud and a dirty bike to wash when I got home; sorry for those who suffered any worse than that though.
Adrian - I must remember to put "progressive" in my CV; I'm more of a luddite at heart though!! It was your suggestion after all! I must also give Richard Pearse the credit for mentioning that marquees were a common sight on the Avenue of Clubs.
It certainly made a change to go to a different type of event and a return visit by a group could be on the cards, but as with this year, it will come down to timing.
Can't win them all and Mid-Ohio is my main priority
