It is this month (April) that they usually sort out the sessions (there have been over 400 entries in total) – their website http://www.festivalof1000bikes.co.uk/Sessions says "**SESSIONS AND GROUPS FOR 2019 WILL BE UPDATED SOON**"
and has done for over a week.

With health and confidence slowly improving, I thought I'd take another look at this . . . . . . . .

Their Home page says the deadline has been extended and they are still taking entries? :o

So my entry has just been posted, fingers crossed I might just scrape in? :)

I have contacted the organisers and the response I have is:
Sorry the sessions have not been sorted yet, further information will be sent within the month of June
We continue to wait...

In previous years we have never received out paperwork and tickets until a couple of weeks before.
It’s the normal for VMCC events, no need to panic.
Probably a deliberate ploy so people don’t have time to lose the paperwork before the event after putting it somewhere safe.

I have had a further response from VMCC. They apologise for the delay in sorting the sessions out. I have been told they have been without an events organiser for 3 months. They will sort it soon and say it will be better next year.

Ring the VMCC and they can e mail or post you entry forms, I believe there are still spaces.

Just sent my entry off to VMCC. Not doing Brands GP now, so hoping to brush some rust off with a few laps of Mallory.

Who's been before? Wondering how packed the paddock's going to be, and maybe I need to get there on the Saturday.

Or Friday afternoon ...

What say the experienced?

Thanks

Stephen

What do the various classes mean for the track sessions? There doesn't seem to be a key on the site

For Stephen H2r
Hi Stephen
The paddock in the centre of the track usually opens around 2pm on the Friday and a group of us arrive then and get a pitch large enough for our group.
You are welcome to join us.
We can normally get our road and race bikes scrutineered from around 4 pm on the Friday to avoid the queue on Saturday.
Only those with race bike entries can park in the paddock, those who only have road bike entries park on the outside but they cab freely walk across the bridge into the paddock without any special pass to look at the bikes in there.
If you are arriving on the Saturday you will need to be early as the only access to the paddock is across the track which normally closes at 8am.
Give me a call and we can discuss.
Regards
Clive
