Last weekend I put the barrels and pistons from THE White KH onto my own S1 since it is still awaiting some bits and this weekend was the first opportunity to leg it down the drive, much easier on my own bike with many miles on the Crank I could at least keep it moving.

My reward was the merest of pop, pop, pop, not anywhere near enough interest to fire properly, so this week it will go work in the bike bus with me, then in the dinnertime we'll go to the top of the longest and steepest hill for miles around Dewsbury.

TBH, I don't think it will go, but it's last resort before I tell the owner to buy some more cyls..

So these are just some of the pictures my pit crew(well the missus) had taken my other nipper Jake was official photograher for the day so waiting on some close ups.

And as for Orville, it didn't miss a beat and was totally ragged all day, regularly taking it into the 9.-10 k range on the rev counter, this is where Mick Abbey said it would perform and bloody hell does it ever

I don't think Orville has ever ran so good i am so chuffed with it at the moment.

when i get the other pics i'll post them up.

Here is to the next one in July

Went out this morning on the GT750 after 2 miles it stopped dead, again!
Eventually it went again and now it has blocked pilot jets.
So...
Once it was going again I had to keep it spinning over but after another three miles it stopped dead again. Aaargh
This bike is becoming a real pain. I opened the fuel cap in the hope that the breather was blocked and this time it got eight miles before cutting out :(
So, back on the naughty step for the Suzuki and later on this afternoon the Sun came out so I rang Mr Todd and suggested a ride to Whitley Bay for an Ice Cream.
Into the garage and get old faithful the H2C out only to find that I hadn't replaced the battery door in my rush to get going last time out and it's fused the electrics and melted
the battery negative lead. Aaargh
Next down to work where I store the others and out with the S3, started third kick after the winter layup and away we go. I don't know why I have any other bikes than the ultra reliable S series :D :D :D

So thought I would replace the chewed up screw on the oil receiver. Then this happened... fortunately I had a spare.

Got the H2C out and sorted after the winter engine rebuild. I thought I should as the Suzuki GT750 is back on the naughty step and looks increasingly unlikely to be going to Dijon.
The bike started straight up and ran very nicely, the roads however were white with the salt residue from what the local council have been throwing on the roads so I didn't go out beyond the local streets for a quick warm up run. Click the pic for a video of it running :D :D :D

...So after a cracking run up the coast got home to find the ends of the baffles coming loose on the S3 ...the rivets are vibrating apart - ...just thinking a gasket at the other end might take some of the vibes out.........have taken them off to see about riveting them back on - will get some gasket material...

Best in show (Jap) at Littleport Bikefest, 200+ bikes and it was the only triple there  They closed the main street and had bands and a Spitfire flypast.

BTW, that's not me in the pic, I nicked it off faceache
