You were right again Wolfie, bloody snow forecast today, so will go to Kendal Ski club and get some practice in, as we are off skiing in Feb.
Kh500 passed mot went up to devils bridge after, for a blast to bed new tyres in and bloody float had filled up again (temporary repair had failed) and I had to keep turning fuel tap on and off as I made my way home.
Whilst cleaning the old gal, postie arrived with replacement float for bike sent by David (Cheers David) a few beers I owe there. Fitted and working as normal (for now).
Roll on spring.

Went with Lee to the Manchester bike show yesterday at the G-Mex.
Very much like Donington with wide open spaces with very little there!
The VJMC did have a pitch with a few bikes on it but it was overall just another car boot sale type event.
We had a few beers and a curry afterwards so all was not lost! :smt023

...and yes Rob, my hands were so painful I briefly considered cutting them off.

Self assessment tax returns and a years filing ! I like to leave it as long as possible as the adrenaline of not getting a £100 fine helps to make the experience worthwhile

Far too cold to be outside so progressed the H1 a bit more. Freshly painted tank, tail and side panels fitted, engine in and pipes on. No need to rush to much as the snow is piling up outside.

It does look great, I am just about to make a start on my KH500, in the house thou, garage too dame cold.
Only taking top end off for a check and put copper base gaskets on.
Snow and ice up here as well, but rain later tonight.

Put a battery in my 70 resto for the first time... iggy boxes buzz, headlight works, panel lights works no rear light (earthing me thinks) no burning wire smell ... result ! now to rewrap the loom
