Forgot to take my phone/camera, but I was out riding the arse off it.. (see "top end Hammering noise" thread) ask the guy on the modern red Honda thingy.. he was left behind off the roundabouts but coulda had me on the long straights.

Even if I had the camera, i can't compete with Moo's picture..

This is one of my favourite bikes of all time. Back in the day when we were out in our two stroke hunting pack this was called the giant killer, it was so quick on the streets. :smt007

We also dragged a couple of Triples over to MFM for the last show of the Year there . . . But we were outnumbered by tattoo bearing Chop / Custom riders :smt102

Took the 72 Z1 out yesterday down some favourite country roads :D
Roads I used to "blast" down on my GSXR 1000.
All now speed limited at 50MPH :cry:

Cheers Malc, I ordered the pictures & have just received them (Manx Photos Online).

Was a great day, I entered through VMCC, you get three sessions on track, a Classic Manx programe pack & a packed lunch for £25 :D

know what you mean :smt004 one of K triple friend from Paris I saw yesterday on the monthly old bikes meeting at Vincennes (3 kilometers from Paris) came on a 49 cc Yamaha Chappy cause he scored a 239 KPH on highway on april when he went to le Bol d'Or race with his ZXR 10. Result is a 6 months ban and 6 points (on the 12) on his driving licence.
BTW this is the reason why he will not come to the Southern 2014 with his H2.
Suggest him coming on the chappy but he replied not :mrgreen:

Today I finally got around to taking a picture of the two... Dad's '72 H1C and my YB100 at Media City, Salford Quays. Hope this picture comes up okay...
