Back from a toy train meeting near Paris my friend Patrice C. (T 350, T 500 guy) who leads LSL which made locomotives HO scale in brass has just delivered my 1CC1 PLM.

Well the snow has nearly gone and the roads only a bit wet,
So got out on the KR1 I bought last weekend, wot a great little bike
Done 53 miles with lots of smiles

Stafford mini show tomorrow. Off to pick some bits up. Getting as daft as triples. £43 for a cardboard battery cover.

This weekend I was supposed to be driving to Italy, unfortunately the company that wanted us to pick stuff up from their suppliers gave us the go ahead too late, it would have been 2 drivers in a LWB Sprinter with a hotel in Italy for one night & a drive through Switzerland. 1,000 miles each way, but I have been assured it will come on again, instead I have my usual drive to Erith & tomorrow is my day off, so after a trip to the dentist I will have a bike out for a ride (even if it's raining!)

Went for 60 to 70 mile ride on h2 yesterday, stopped for coffee at Aylesbury, then back home on the A41, with Higgsy pipes, 34mm's, and a taller front sprocket, what a blast !

Mucking about in the garage getting kawasaki A7 bits for my son to put on ebay.He gets 50% of the profits for doing it!
Doing a talk on lighthouses tomorrow night!!
Spent all last night perfecting it in front of julie and my daughter Sarah.
Got 70 odd pictures loaded on powerpoint and linked to a projector
Been a lot of work to prepare it, the things I talk myself into!!!

the locomotive I bought yesterday

161 DE 3 PLM
HO scale (1/87) 3 rails (Marklin system) Digital on VB track from the 50s

from the Maurienne line between Chambery (F) and Modane (I), first PLM line electrified by third rail on the 20s
four different locomotives just have to order the last one

Took out my KH400 this afternoon, i got just 3 mile & got a puncture,nail in rear tyre,bugger.
Rode bike back home & parked it up,was planning to fit new tyre next month anyway,then took out my CB125 to run it in some more after its top end rebuild.
Ps, this is my first motorcycle puncture in 30 years.

Well snowed up on Saturday so spent all day in the garage building Malc's H2 engine. Snow all gone today so me and Simon Lister did a VMCC trial in Southport, really good day but 60 bloody sections! knackered now!!!

Very satisfactory day stripping H2 bodywork back to bare metal. Originaly brown! Nice working with all metal parts and nice to see the back of the american custom paint job! (although the quality was actually very good)

Gutted for you mate it's strange because I had one on a Z1b last year and that was my first puncture on a bike for thirty years also,
let's hope it's another thirty years and were still riding before we get another one

Thanks Kenny, thats a nice thought, nice to know there is somsone you know in a ride area !

woke up the h2a today after her winter sleep had the heads and barrels off to check everything was ok put the tank and zorsts back on[they have over wintered in the house much to the annoyance of mrs T] fired her up and only running on 2 no spark on middle cylinder!! did all the tests pointed to duff iggy box,split all the connectors and cleaned them up even though they looked ok gave her one last try before playing hunt the iggy box and hey presto back on three!!! bloody british climate started to give her a good polish for scttish show, hope she's clean enough for you andrew!!

I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning. Smells like.....victory. Spring is on its way chaps.YEY!!!!

working on my little aprilia rs125 i picked up recently,just front wheel bearings to go and ready for a blast up the road :smt023 :smt023

Got my Walter Wolf RG470 out of hibernation and went for a quick spin
