i don't know how many miles it's for Calais to Dijon track (near a small village call PRENOIS 21370 if you search on a map you should know this; the post code 21370) Calais to my home -Paris- is 290 kilometers. My home to the track -short way 290 kilometers, long way but with very small roads without any cops, small and big curves, harpins, interesting down hill on which you fly on the two wheels at around 7000 rpm 5 th gear on H2, petrol stations just when we needs, 350 kilometers :smt002
Ok just googled the time and mileage Calais to Paris is 179 miles @ 2 hours 54 minutes. It's mainly motorway with toll charges, I have done this before and stayed at jp's apartment. Then Paris to Dijon is 196 miles@ 3 hours. Google says, Calais to Dijon direct 254 miles @5 hours. Please check as I may be wrong. I am still up for it as it is quite a while off yet, so plenty of time to plan this trip.

To those who will come.
Firstly will say you when you can get tickets for the show and ticket for lunch and dinner on french suzuki GT club.
secondly, if you want going directly Calais to Dijon, Dennis and Chantal who came at the southern 2012 with their 350 Motobeconfort could park the bike(s) for the night at Saint-Quentin (on the way).
They haven't beds but could find a cheap hotel. :smt004

Would love to but it now clashes with a trip to Euro-Disney.

i think we need to talk to J.P. I assume the idea is to meet the french posse in paris or pre arranged point about noon friday which would mean getting the train about 8ish, we need to know if we need to take tents sleeping bags etc and whether we need to pre pay for the event . I suppose unless people want to go on their own the brits meet up point will be the tunnel ]depending on who is going the northern posse can meet up with whoever is riding down as long as it,s on the way any thoughts?

1- Well we of course will wait you in Paris on friday with a brunch.
I will give you exactly when you will arrived in Paris by the highway the exits you will take unless I will meet you on the petrol station on the higway after the tool way near Roissy or CDG airport (think this is the way to go)
2- Depends how many you will be but if you're a few we give you a tent or two for all Uk guys unless you prefer to be dispaching with a frogg on tents. This means you don't need to take a tent but you will take only a sleeping bag.
3- When I will know exactly who will coming I will pay the entrances and the lunchs and dinners on the Suzuki GT french club and you will pay me back, no trouble about this point.
4- Any question is welcome, can't wait to be there :smt004
