First bike was a Gilera 50 Trials moped at 16. First triple was a KH250B2 at 18. Was generally without a bike every year for up to a month between selling one and buying the next. Totally bikeless in 1987/88 to raise deposit for first dwelling, then bought my first S2 in 1988 (still got it!); never owned a bike for so long!

Honda C110 when I was 11, then Greeves Griffon before moving to Maico 250. First road bike was a Puch 50cc which I called "the banana bike" because of the colour, worst feature was the stupid hand gear change. Then the usual move to SS50 and a Kenny Roberts look a like Yamaha. After that it was motocross only for years with Maico 440 and three Suzuki 125's before getting back on the road with a CBR400RR with a Joey Dunlop Castrol paint job. Montesa cota, Yamaha TT500 and two Greeves Griffons have been in the garage for years and finally got my H1B last October. Last week I finally found a C110 identical to my first bike and bought it, the one in this months Motorcycle Mechanics.
Oops, forgot about the KH250 and the XT350 after Maico and before CBR400RR
Also Tiger Cub couple of years ago but that was shite.

I've never been without a bike since the day before I turned 16, when my first one arrived in the dealers (Clarkes of St Albans) truck at our house. That's been 36 years!
