Today in the Vosges mountain range. Planning to stay here for two days and check out the Scenic routes. Will continue north tomorrow away from the thunder storms.

beware on friday evening, saturday and sunday on the roads of the Vosges mountain, plenty of cops with speed camera as some naughty bikers, some from germany, and sport car drivers ride there like on a track and for unknown reasons authorities don't like this
Plenty of K triples fans in Colmar and Mulhouse (south of the vosges mountain) .

on you're way back are you coming trough the Netherlands ?

While you are there go to Strassbourg and have a look at the European Parliament Building which we paid for. Also find a place that serves Flammkuchen an Alsace speciality. Also the wine harvest is in full swing. Try to taste some vin noveau which is cloudy still fermenting white wine. Also look out for Triples as there a quite a few in this area. They sometimes meet in Rhinau.

I also hope that you went to Café Schäfer while you were in Triberg as they serve the best Blackforest Gateau in Germany.

Ha ha yes Gotz mate. Had my fill of gateau spent two days in Triberg. Moving across France to the west tomorrow.

180 miles around the Voges mountains today, on my second 4 later keg of two stroke.

Currently in Belgium just south of Spa.
Lower clutch actuator has developed a leak, probably an after shock of the drop. Just a couple of drips overnite, nothing that will stop the ride home.
Travelling back through Belgium to Ypres tomorrow. Chunnel home on Friday.

Arrived home last night at 19:30. 1803 miles door to door. The last push home yesterday was tough 240 miles from Ypres to Lowestoft.

Fantastic holiday, pity the weather shut down the Italy plans. Plenty of pictures and memories.

Yeah I must admit I surprised myself, with the high speed and the heavy weight. Cant wait to do it all again.
