So there I was minding my own business, raiding the cash point after filling up the Jeep with the Devil's fuel at a garage near the office, when I hear that unmistakable triple sound behind me

So I walk over, as you do, to say hello

Turns out it was Graham (Toddyboy) - we had been PMIng for months over the Powerdynamo issue but had never met. Bloody small world isn't it?

Hey Graham.

I checked the Kindle site to see your books. So you are a science fiction writer? Me, I love - number one, Iain M Banks. Culture stuff. Then in no order of preference, Alastair Reynolds, Peter.F. Hamilton, Larry Niven, Asimov, Loe Haldiman.etc. All the greats.

Hi bic,
Yeah kind of, though it's what I call Science Faction. All my novels revolve around real issues or events that can't easily be explained such as 9/11, secretive military installations, International banking consortiums, that sort of thing. I then weave a fiction story around them to add a bit of excitement. I get my inspiration from Robert Ludlum, Dan Brown, Tom Clancy, those kind of writers. I only do it for fun but I've actually sold quite a lot of books and have a fairly decent fan base now.

You could easily become a self published author in the same way, you're writing is definitely good enough to do that.
