The weekly forecast is in... Phil is thinking of dropping the "Minus" from this years title.. What a difference 12months makes. Last year it was two days before Mr "Beast from the East" paid us a visit.
Friday evening we're taking a head count for a ride out to Selby for a Curry on Saturday night, Let us know beforehand if possible.
On Saturday I had a look around for a decent route to Doncaster, having not been to this Café before.
A good route to the Café will be:-...
Fair weather:- Right out of Pub- IN Carlton T Right- IN Snaith T Left- THRU East Cowick then T Right towards Thorne.
AFTER Fishlake Motors (just before M18) T Right- IN Fishlake T Left- IN Stainforth T Right THEN immediately T Right again- TO Barnby Dun then Kirk Sandall.
AT A630 Roundabout (Wheatley Hall Road) T Left- AT Roundabout (100yds) T Right. Sandall Park Cafe is on the Right at the next Roundabout.
A Quick and Siimple Route:- Left out of Pub, Left onto A19- AT Doncaster T Left over Georges bridge (Flyover), THEN Left onto A630 (Wheatley Hall Road). AT 3rd Roundabout T Right, Sandall Park Cafe is on the Right at the next Roundabout.
Simple Route to J&S:- Left to Roundabout- T Left A630 (Wheatley Hall Road)- AT Doncaster (3rd Roundabout) T Right- GO over Georges Bridge- AT T Lights T Left- J&S is on the Right Hand Side (100yds)..
Good Route to Squires:- GO Left A638 Follow Signs for Wakefield- Eventually Cross The A1- AT 2nd Roundabout T Right (Wrangbrook Lane)- JUST before A1 T Left A639 (Doncaster Road)- IN East Hardwick T Right (Darrington Road)- IN Carlton T Right- IN Darrington just BEFORE A1 Flyover T Right and Keep Left for A1 North- AFTER Half a mile Keep left onto A162 (OLD A1) and Follow it to Squires..

Bleedin' family has organised both a Daytime gathering and a Birthday night out for Saturday.. Well, I left the Rally early last year to join them. But I'm staying put this year.

Graham if the weather was icy and snowy I may have thought twice about it! Cold generally not a problem.

What a cracking weekend, lovely sunshine, these guys can talk bigger two stroke bollox than most, thick heads on the Saturday made way for a great ride into Doncaster, we lost two bikes on the run (one terminally) but otherwise everyone made it..
Once again, a few days after the Rally, the weather deteriorates.. I think Swiv should hold it a week later next year but it's already booked for the 28th Feb onwards..
Lining up for a days ride out..

Special effort from 'Haggler' Pete (formerly of this Parish) who rode from North Northampton on a 250 and 'Ardee' Tracey from Norfolk on a 350(?) LC..[/color]

As we're doing 3 or maybe 4 rallies this year, I had to go with what Jo wanted to do (especially as we've spent the last couple of weekends decorating!!

Can't believe the KH was sent home in shame early in the rideout. Oh the igmony. This is how she repays me after all the attention I've lavished on her.

Oh nothing dramatic Kerry (you've cornered that market

). Just the ignition system playing up on one cylinder. It'll be summat and nowt I expect but I hate working on the bloody things.
