There's a full page announcement for this on the back page of the Jan/Feb issue of Classic Racer, which came out in Dec, saying 'Entries now available online'. I queried this with the organisers after trying before Christmas and they said it would be open 'early 2019'. Since then the link https://www.jurbyfestival.com/jurby-track-entry-2019/ has started working and details can be entered, but so far the further link to complete and pay the £30 doesn't work.

Email is entries@vmcciom.org

I'll post as soon as I can get it to work.

Happy New Year!!

Steven you seem to be confusing the Festival of 1000 Bikes and the Jurby Festival. Both of them are VMCC events.

The Festival of 1000 Bikes website now has the dates but still does not appear to have the new application forms. Although I am told that people who entered last year have been contacted by VMCC.

I will email the organisers again as I have not heard back from my previous emails.

I now have 41 members who want to go with another 8-12 who might go. Thank you for all your responses.

As soon as I have more definitive information then I will post it here (and on the Club official event page on Facebook).

You're right! I'm easily confused these days (daze?).

Sorry about that everyone. I'll keep my head down a bit now.

• Please return your entry form immediately to avoid disappointment

You will need to read the entry forms but here is some of the important detail -

Hi Nick
Sounds good, are you asking that we all register and pay individually. And if so what details do I need, having never done anything like this before?
When it says no jeans, which is obvious, what exactly do you wear? since I have only ever ridden my bikes in jeans.
Cheers

BOOKING
As it is a VMCC event you will need to fill in the VMCC application form and apply to them and pay them individually.
I have electronic application form for completion to send to them or later today you should be able to download it from their website.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
I do not have the details other than above. Someone who has gone before may have more info.
BUT Usually this means CE approved armoured clothing either one piece or zip together top and bottom. Boots should cover the ankle.

IF ANYONE WANTS TO GO TO SHOW A BIKE ON THE CLUB STAND - BUT NOT TAKE PART ON THE TRACK - contact me as I should be able to arrange passes.
