Modern Bike 750  .. maybe they are trying to kill me then they won't need to sort this incident.

Bikebus is being collected today, bike exchange on Saturday.

Bike will go to Surrey for an engineer to assess.. I've asked Andrea to keep an eye on it down there.. :smt005

Walked away from at least 12 crashes now, none my fault thankfully. A few have been total wrecks, this was the biggest impact one.

Was a 2009 Mazda6 SL top of the range. Bought 6 months old with 5005 miles, wrecked by a f@$kwit who ran through a crossroads without stopping. Or so he thought. He got away with a slap on the wrist.

Insurance have got back to me now, It's a write off but they will return the salvage.. With the value returned I should be able to source the parts and testing to make it live again.. Getting the bike back is the important part but they haven't said what category it will be just yet.

They will be contacting me shortly to return it and retrieve their Hire bike.

The Bikebus was already paid out by Admiral, 1/6th the value of the Bike.. I think that all that is left for them now are the (ongoing) costs of the damage to my body..

So, in conclusion. RH have come out well in the long run. They hand physical things (collection, Inspection, Hire bike etc) over to a company or Division, called '4th Dimension' while a company or division called 'Bike Assist' deal with the Legal side.
