Currently looking 'reasonable' based upon the Met Office predictions...... but as weather forecasting can only be considered accurate 7hrs before (I have been reliably informed), I wouldn't put a crumpled fiver on it.
Anyhow, assuming that it is nice, and assuming my passout hasn't been cancelled by Milady, and assuming the 400 Mongrel plays ball, I am intending to canter over the Pennines to stick my snout in for a few hours on the Saturday as one of the requested 'new faces'. You may regret it.
About what time is the ride out? Would be a pity to arrive ten minutes after everyone has set off. Plus what sort of distance is it.... just for an idea as to whether I'll need to fill up!

Here's my current situation, the towbar for my car isn't fitted, I looked at my trailer tyres and they both need replacing.
Jo can't ride on the back of the bike for long because of a dodgy foot.
The plan is to get the trailer, towbar sorted by Friday and bring a bike.
With work getting in the way I'll do my best to bring a bike....

My Bus (Bike transport and shelter) has an intemittent engine problem which is being a pain to pin down, so we may be there, in the bus if poss or maybe a car...

Have arrived in Blackpool for the rally weekend. 320 dry miles the old girl didn't miss a beat. After 7 hours and 6 fuel stops I am ready for a cuppa tea.

Not gonna make this year again .Got caught to help at Dunlop anniversary in Ballymoney on Saturday.

Blonde Bombshell will be leaving the smoke early doors tomorrow.. Bus is loaded, it's just a matter of making it to Fleetwood without any Red Triangles on the Dashboard.....
