Get well soon. Remember it only hurts when you laugh :
Chris is recovering from surgery when a nurse asks him how he is feeling.
"I'm OK but I didn't like the four-letter-word the doctor used in surgery," he answered.
"What did he say," asked the nurse.
"OOPS!"

Hope you get this sorted ASAP Chris.
On the bright side, 2 stone less should be worth at least 0.1 secs up the quarter next time !

spoke to the crank god last night and he STILL hasnt had it done they have cancelled the op 4 times now so hes been starved for 2 weeks now
its so bad that he had half a slice of toast and within 20mins was crippled with pain.
it should happen today he reckons, the main problem is as its not life threatening they will squeeze him in when they can.
and JP 20lbs is good for 1 tenth a second over 1/4 mile

Wow! I'm really touched by all your nice messages - thank you all very much.
I've not been able to eat solids since I went in so I'm quite weak but should be a 10th or so faster at the track! Had the op last night at 10.45pm and came out today at 6pm. At least I'm done now and seems they guessed right as I've eaten twice today within much discomfort.
For those of you waiting for me to do stuff, thanks for being so patient. I can't wait to see some of you guys soon. What a great bunch you are.

Good to see that you are up and about and I wish you a speedy recovery.
A colleague had the same problem and has made an excellent recovery, just doesn't like being called Pebbles?

Sounds like you've been to hell and back, Chris. Glad to hear that the medics have given you the good 'seeing-to' that you needed at last. Get well soon, but take things easy!
Best wishes, Mark W.
