sorted spoke with chap and we have 48m2 6x8m so a lot better,power also ,i have all the passes now and need to confirm all bikes for the show including names,tartan

Well done that man! To confirm what Malcolm said, the size of our "old" pre-2011 pitch at Stafford was 54m2, so enough for 14 bikes, tables etc. at a few strange angles to make it look vaguely arranged, so the plot you now have should be nicely spacious for 10 bikes.

sorry guys, due to me and jack moving house , yes on our own i will not be able to attend the show. My kh500 special will still be there though thanks to simon.

Starting to line them up, there are nine triples in total on the club stand, not a bad effort given (I think) it's the clubs first showing north of the border. .......



I'll try and post up some better photos over the weekend.

From a personal point of view it's really great to see the club showing here north of the border & to meet some of the other club members.

The exceedingly high standard of the triples here is most impressive to me !

After Roger arrived & we finished setting up, we hit the hotel for a meal and the obligatory "few beers" last night before retiring for the evening, I suspect this has the makings of a good weeekend.

It all looks very promising. I'm glad to see the club display cards made it across the border too (well done Malcolm!).

Roger a second overall in the post classics with his H2.....



TangoMan got third place overall in the post classics with his H2 .....



And then there's Simons 1st place for best Japanese classic in the show with his S2 ......



So take a bow guys (and girl) incredible interest in all the triples today and you did the club proud !!




I think it can be safely said that the clubs first visit north of the border was a great success !

Off now for a few beers to celebrate !

Great stuff. I spoke to Tartan this afternoon and he said the judge had a glint in his eye when mentioning the triples, so his suspicions were correct. It's nice to get some recognition for all the effort. An annual event perhaps??
