There must be something about Laverda's and our triples attracting nutters then, as I remember former club member from the formation years Paul Voyner had a succession of them on and off. He ended up with a Jota that he flew to Fife to look over, and then immediately rode back home to Reading on. He toured Poalnd with his Honda mounted brother (also a former club member) in the early '90's and it nearly killed him with the discomfort. The thing he was religious about though was changing the oil mid trip telling me that the filtration method was pitiful, being just a gauze mesh alone to catch any particles and no proper filter.

Fitration is just a piece of mesh. Lol.
Roger Winterburn at Windy Corner did me a service once and swore blind for Bel Ray oil. That was probably one of the first syntehetic oils on the market.
They were probably the most logical progression from an H2 etc back in the day .
