I can multitask (it's a women thing I gather, changing cd's etc.)... and I don't spend my entire journey moaning on about those that don't indicate, etc. etc. etc.
The only drawback is I now have Harv insured on my policies
Ha ha, as a driving instructor I can tell you re multitasking, for example changing down and braking at the same time or changing up whilst going round a corner, I can tell you men are much better!

This speed awareness course, can anyone get on it , or do you have to be a naughty boy? On a winters day it could provide some entertainment

I did ask this question at the awareness course. The answer : No only speed offenders caught by the Police are allowed to attend.
That is a bit strange, don't you think. Here is a good citizen, trying to learn to be a better driver--- but noooooooooooooooooo the system doesn't like that.
It appears that it is more valuable to them to have offenders aka cashcows.

When I was out on the road doing my 40k + miles per year I used to be able to choose my route away from schools, miss motorways just generally keep outa the way, now I'm deskbound I have no choice but to go to and from work with these nutters..

I thought it was November 5th already! Coming down the M1 J27 - J26 last night and what looked like lightening ahead was the new Gantrys have been activated and the speed cameras are earning their keep! - be warned

There is one or sometimes more almost every journey..
Some days my car is totally invisible, I rang MI6 and offered them it so the R&D Boys could try and copy it for James..
Saturday afternoon is about the only good time to drive now, but by tea time all the loonies have come out again.

My last points were 1979.... until a cop on a bike gunned me down doing 49 in what was usually a 50 limit (but was reduced for roadworks).
There is a tendency to reduce a limit that has been in place all yer driving life and put a camera in at the same time... Jane was caught doing 34 in an ex 40 limit (now 30) her first ever points.

Points for 34 in a 30 is a bit harsh. Especially with the recent lowering of the limit.

She wanted me to take the points (yeah right).. but if it's good enough for MPs...
Yesterday trip home.. This guy had been in the lane behind me then sat up my inside for ages, look what he did when he saw the van coming into the inside lane, and later he was weaving in and out of lane to pass people up either side.

You should try commuting on the M25 Wolfie if you let those little episodes wind you up! It can be a real racetrack at times.
Do you keep a camera going all the time, like the Russians appear to do? I daren't - it'd be self incriminating

I put the camera on for every journey since I met an asshole last year, it's just my phone on its side..
Despite there being a Motorway full of cars, there were no witnesses.
After 6months it was my fault and he produced a witness to boot!

A highway patrol cop pulled me over last week. He leaned in the car and said do you know you were doing a numdred miles an hour.
I said thats impossable as ive only been out ten minits.
