Local Honda dealer held a classic bike event in aid of the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance. Nice mix of bikes dating from early 1900's (pedal bikes with the petrol tank slung under the crossbar), nice array of British iron and a good showing of Jap stuff. Clicked a few pics of stuff from the 70's.

Best in show won by a CBX Turbo, looked like it had arrived in a van. Started up ok though. Didn't take a picture of it though (couldn't be arse'd!!).

Recovering from "keyhole" shoulder surgery. Was supposed to be a daycase but ended up for the best part of 2 days in hospital. Arthroscpic subacromial decompression. Now redressed but still painful and off work. Arm is currently yellowish in places (bruising). I am now bored stupid "resting" off work.
The shoulder I injured coming off on the way back from Dijon is the other one

and is just as painful at times and I'm now waiting for that one to be treated.

Rode into Stratford upon Avon on the Denco Diablo H2, scythed through the traffic chaos in a cloud of smoke and a truly wonderful noise, got accosted by various people at the bike park wanting to talk about the bike, becoming a regular thing that is, not a complaint as it means people are still interested in old bikes
Made "reasonable progress" home whilst laughing out loud at the performance versus brakes equation
I really like these bikes - a lot

Started my H2B up, after she had been asleep 32 years. Many thanks too Simon for all the parts. And Malc for the rest.
