Just got back after a blast on S2B. So good to get out. Damp patches and leaves make it interesting!

That really sucks JP! Heal well.
Did the brake lock and stayed locked, or did it lock and you let the pressure of and it freed up? The reason I ask, is "if" you are running an old rubber line, the interior may be coming apart. A few guys have had the front lock because a loose flap of rubber in the line locked on the pressure.

it loocked and when i put the brake lever offf immediatly was ok excepted the front went side to side and at least didn't succed to recover it at very low speed
doctor said it will be a 4 weeks rebuilt (for myself, bike is ok) so already two weeks on next sunday
there's an happy guy: my office partner.
he had big troubles with his z1 head and used actually my S2A.
but as i went to an old bikes show -with some thiefs around- we xchanged bikes for the week and he took my H2B;
he still rides it and he really prefers it compare to the S2.

Just been down to Ashton Powder Coating and picked up all the black bits from my 2 H1As (except for 1 pair of headlamp brackets that need repairing first) .......
All excellent, I'm really pleased; a bargain I think at £200
Earlier I nipped over to Dynasurf in Sandbach to drop off the fork stanchions for both bikes to be hard chromed.

Pete... what I don't like about Ashton Powder Coating is they seem to do everything in satin then lacquer anything you want gloss. I found that the lacquer shelled off easily when bolting stuff to it

I've never noticed that Simon. All my stuff that they've done still looks great. Have you used them recently? They have changed things a bit since the original owner died and the business was taken over by his son.

Probably 12 months since I used them.

Got the H1 out for a buzz/smog expedition, checked the MOT, expired. Bottom
I am still looking forward to experiencing the true stopping power of the state of the art TLS front brake and the flexible forks/frame to give ultimate rider feedback

Started to strip down the 'Greenie' to be a donor bike for another (Purple) H2A, frame sitting on the floor. Going to get 34's/Denco's out of storage for it

Av been experimenting witha modern headlight bulb, even the H4 Halogen 64/64watt looks a bit puny in the dark, so I splashed out on an LED equivalent..

The beam pattern is slightly higher but it does appear to illuminate the road directly in front..
THE Whiter LED makes even the Halogen light look very yellow.[/color]
