All my bikes are now on SORN except for the B8 Omega so I took it down to Washington Wildfowl Park tonight, it's only 15 miles
but that's a long way when you've only got 11 hp

There weren't many classics there but this 1920 Brough was worth the trip on its own. Proper oily rag ridden regularly and worth a king's ransom

Having rebuilt the S3 I was a little concerned that I didn't have the rear wheel aligned properly as is misses the chain guard by about a mm. I gave up using the guide marks on the swing arm and just measured the distance the adjusting bolts were sticking out from the rear of the adjuster bracket. Decided to get it checked out at Maidstone Motorliner. http://www.motoliner.com/
For those that don't know they do most of the frame, wheel and fork straightening for racing bikes after they have thrown them down the track. Anyway they stuck the S3 in one of their jigs and he said you've basically got it spot on. The marks on the swing arm appear to be well out. Having put my mind at rest went for a ride out, even though I had picked a wet and windy day. Had a good blast around the lanes and even saw what appeared to be a Suzuki T500 going the other way. Did anyone else go out in the rain today, or were you all too busy combing your hair and painting your nails?
Bye eck, we're not sa soft down south t'know.
