My first triple was bought in 1985 it was a KH400A3 Reg No. ARV576V. - I mentioned it in my article in the last club magazine.

Wow Rick. That's amzing. Can't believe its still in the area. It must of only just re-appeared. Scouse checked it out on the DVLA site for me 2 or 3 years ago and it hadn't been taxed since the 80's. Forgive my stupidity. I expect I have the wrong end of the stick. My bike, L reg, I bought new in the summer of 73. Surely M reg is 74. How on earth did you get an M reg H1B in 1973??????

My first Triple an H1b, was as recent as 2009 since then I've had a 'few' more ~ my first bike was LONG before then

Took me a lot of years to own a H2, after seeing one in the window of the local kawasaki dealers in the late 70.s. early 80,s. Many yamaha,s passed thru my hands in those years, but i could never afford a H2.
So in 2006 i heard of an old boy in Nottingham who sometimes has some H2,s for sale, i scrimped and saved and went to nottingham, it did not take long for him to empty my wallet,
and i came home with this

1980, KH250B1, UUY744R, still got it, first triple, first motorbike, first vehicle, best ever, must get it going, carbs off for cleaning at present, all gummed up after not starting for 4 years, shocking neglect.

About year 2000.it was an original candy brown h2b.sold it about 5 years later and regretted doing that ever since.

Today back in 1977 my 17th birthday. A KH250 B2, my first vehicle, new, from a push bike to a KH250!!
. Still have it, sitting in the garage on SORN awaiting attention.

A brand new s1c HOR 814N bought from Bob Gollner Kawasaki Portsmouth in May 1975. Sold it a year later for Z1b.
