You should be listening to El Presidente. not about his cat , You are now using a correct oil .....SO...........?? .......................................................................................................................................................it's not the oil that's the problem.

Rather than wait for a solution from folk on here ( don't hold your breath, ). You need to solve it yourselves by the Sherlock method. Dismiis the logical possibilities one by one, and you will arrive at the solution. No matter how improbable.

In this case , you need to work out what is causing your clutch to drag/ plates stick together. If itIs NOT the oil. ??

Start with new plates , per soaked in new correct oil overnight. Check your steel plates are flat. Check your pushrods is straigh and of correct length. Ensure your shiny new brass lifter is lubed and not sticking. And make sure your cable ihas a direct route , with no kinks , and is also lubed. Etc etc.
And eventually ,on an. H1 >. Make sure you have right number of plates fitted.
On an H2 > make sure your front friction plate is the correct one with
Shorter ears to clear the retaining ring.

Phew. If all else fails , send it to a competent mechanic and just pay through your nose to get it sorted .PLEASE !!!!!

Clutch sorted it was too much oil. Filling up to the dipstick required 1.8 ltrs but the manual states 1.2 ltrs I must assume that the dipstick is the wrong one. Should have checked quantity in the first place and not relied on the dipstick. Basic error but it gave you guys something to discuss cheers lads for all the usefull info.
