With RB still not 100% we opted to take the hire truck up to take a look at Mackinac bridge and a ferry trip to Mackinac island.
First though we did the video of the 69H1 that RB posted on U tube.

Wont bore you with more pictures of the bike but what we forgot to mention in the video was the the mirror had the Kawasaki flag logo on it
Nice touch!
The only mirror I have ever seen it on is on my 250 Meguro!
Of course RB had an NOS one!
It was a two and a half hour drive to the bridge and then we waited for a ferry.

The island is quite unique in that its a major tourist attraction (WE are classed as tourists

) but has nearly no motorised transport (fire engine and an ambulance!)
The main transport all over the island is bicycles or horse and cart!
Having not rode a bicycle since I was last banned the horse and cart was a good option

Approaching the island

ERM,the streets stank of horse shit!!

Only real mode of transport on the island

We stopped at a few scenic points

Heading back for the ferry

Something to eat near the ferry

Steak for Kenny, Fish N Chips (fries) for me
We drove back and got in at 11.20pm and rounded off the evening with the obligatory RED on the verandah
Friday , last day,
Sorted some import paperwork for all the bikes etc, dropped the hire truck off,
And got to the airport
Flight home passed quick

I'm now back in the house and doing my best not to fall asleep!
Need to stick it out till 10AM to counter the jet lag.
Thanks to all the USA crew who made our trip to Mid-Ohio memorable!
It was brilliant
And big thanks to RIck and Lisa for looking after us although Lisa did say that at times is like looking after naughty children
Next trip "THE MANX"
