Bike went to Lincoln for some Alan Smith TLC just a few hours ago, he's been given the deadline!

I'm booked on the Ferry...
Not long to go, nothing heard from Alan... Rang twice today both went onto Ansaphone..
Since I broke the S1 last weekend there's a potential here of having no bike for that weekend.. I've had a stinking cold since Sunday eve, so no time in garage yet to investigate the S1s problem.
Are you going Malc? I didn't see any other mention after your initial ask..

Getting giddy now. Only a few days.

Alan is looking at the H2 today/tomorrow on the Dyno, cutting it a bit fine.
I have at least one bike, the S1 had swallowed an(other) O'Ring on the Blackpool Rideout, luckily being soft Silicone they go straight through her digestive system without any harm (or indigestion)..

I'm considering a Thurs night set off, you have me worried about that bleedin' M25.

Graham we are on 10.09 train. Probably leave 6.30 to leave plenty of time. We can always get breakfast if waiting!

Still haven't decided when to leave here, theres no easy time.
If I set off Thurs eve, I'll need somewhere to kip down.. Setting off Friday morning will mean setting off before 5.. it's usually bang on 4 hrs to the Tunnel, but then on this Friday I will be on the M25 in the rush hours, it can turn into Armageddon at a moments notice.. 5am gives an hour and half leeway..
5am still has it at the moment...

Graham leave Thursday evening Friday is a nightmare especially around London there`s no telling how long you will be caught in traffic.

Travelliing to the Southern Rally on Fridays, I never had any problems but that has been around dinnertime.
But, anyhow.. I've been measuring myself against the back of the Bikebus, even with the bike in there's room for a decent kip.

Well Alloallo will vbe there on friday afternoon to welcome the bloody britts will be there too on friday but will start from Paris around 5 Pm so will be there at 8 PM.
Will give you the exact way and don't forget there is a closed parking on the rear of the hotel on which you will park vans and bikes.

Vans enclosed parking too? Excellent JP, I though it was gonna have to sit next to the river.. I was just checking the handbrake last night..

The parking is rue Ledru Rollin (look at the map).
To go to the parking when you are 46 quai Camille Desmoulins you will go west (from this map)
second street left
then left again rue Ernest Renan
then first street left again Rue Victor Hugo
then first right rue Ledru Rollin
ask to the hotel's landlord to open the door and on which number of the street is the parking.
If you are bloody holigans an other way is still west first street left rue Victor Hugo (but it's an one way street and you will be on the wrong way ) then first left rue Ledru Rollin
was not impossible that last year some bloody froggs did so

I don't think we'll get a van onto Rue Ledu Rollin from that side, it looks barely wide enough for a bike! This looks more van friendly, especially that huge thing that Sam has..
