This is how i used to load mine back in the 70s Martin..

Orange bags = Sleeping bags.
Green Bag = Tent.
Canvas Haversack = 2 People Clothes for a fortnight in France n Spain.
Blue bag = Can't remember, possibly contraband .
White Box = Bike Spares, 2 Stroke Oil etc.

I have a much simpler system:-

If you can get a bungy round it - its on!!!"
