Nice lungfish! Am meeting Rog and possibly RB if he gets down early late Friday afternoon at our hotel at Bricketts Wood. Name of a pub to get cab to would be good. Fingers Xed no more snow eh !!!!!

Sam, sorry to be a 'party-pooper' but Phil the Paint and I are not going to be able to make the trek up to St Albans from Kent tomorrow evening
- It's been snowing here for 72 hours, and although it looks like it might be easing-up a tad tonight, there's 40 cm of fresh powder which isn't going to thaw any time soon. Road & rail conditions down here have been atrocious yesterday & today, and will be tomorrow, too, worse luck.

Pleased to say the weather is not a problem in this part of Hertfordshire. About inch of snow & all roads seem OK.
Sorry you guys not going to make it.
For those that can, quite a few plan to meet up in the Pub opposite the Alban Tandouri called "THE HORN" Its a popular music pub but do not charge for entry til 8 & Indian is booked for 7.30
