Well done JP, hope you had a great time, Rain on Saturday only I believe from your other posts..
I've got to own up to being dead jealous of any rides out at the moment.. I had one last week that broke me bike.. (now mended) but the guys were out again today- this afternoon! Unfortunately some of us have got proper jobs.
I'm missing you French guys.

It was a good day so went along to Crail for the last thrash of the year to try the new gearing after reving out at Shakey.
Shakey top speed 95mph at 9500rpm in top and 15.2ish best.
Crail top speed was 92mph at 8500rpm in 4th and 14.7ish best.
If I would let go the clutch quicker probably another .5sec to gain away from the line.

During the last run out on the H1D one of the split pins on the carb top broke. Dropping the slide to the bottom and giving me some issues with running.
Yesterday I removed all three slides and installed new split pins, replaced the brass ones with stainless steel. Re-set the carbs and gave it a short blast.
I must admit the 500 is more fun than my H2C. It just brings a big grin whenever I ride it.

Would be fun but needs better ground clearance which starts with a new top yolk to lift the front but no time at work for fun projects anymore.
