It was the shop at Denmead. They had all the triple range on show. If I remember correctly they were on raised platforms inside the showroom. Brand new S3's, blue H1f's, purple h2c's. my idea of heaven!..Needless to say I was a regular visitor. Thumbs Up

1977 Built a bitsa from a non-running H1B & an utterly written off KH500.
Loved it.
Except when the J&R's fractured, making it really loud.

KHA 128L p/x (+£300) for my R5 Yamaha cafe racer, from Allins, Cambridge in 1977, sold it to Mr De'ath (honest... ), Bristol for £900 in 79 (approx £4.5K in today's money).

Could then be the bike that Paul De'ath rode all over Europe, from Portugal in the west and to as far as Greece in the east? RB put a picture of his bike in one of the very early club newsletters as probably one of the worlds most widely ridden H2's

Could be, how many De'ath's own H2's  (maybe he should've called it a 'Widower maker' ).

He almost didn't buy it off me, after coming up from Bristol in a van with some mates, I took him out on it and he literally shit himself  It was wet but I still managed a few 2nd gear two-up wheelies and when we got back he was shaking like a leaf - his mates got him to buy it. They chucked it in the van and with no straps, they drove off holding it up in the back  I think I mentioned all this in the Superbike Hairy Tales story I did at the time. Thumbs Up

Cool.... if you look closely you can see a pair of (mega loud  ) Fiamm airhorns (in the correct place and the right way up :D :D :D ) which were a unique upgrade for an H2, as I was running pods, it left space for the air compressor under the seat, which obviously justified chucking away the airbox...

2014 - yep, really.
A bit slow to getting round to ownership(H2b) but hoping to fix that with the over zealous use/abuse of that nasty fossil fuel :D

1982 .....kawasaki S2 350 bought from a local dealer for £200 spent quite a bit on it BWV 53L I sold it for £450 to some bloke called Rick Brett around 1990.It was sold last year on the bay for £4500 I contacted the seller and he still had the receipts for all the bits I bought. Now in the process of getting an S2a new to this sight but enjoying the banter already.
