Wow, I know its a nice picture, but even with a vintage frame I cant see it being worth £150

Worn wellies all my life. 50 years living in an old farmyard does that to you. Mother lived in Shetland in the '50s/'60s with nowt to do in the evenings except knit. Got 2 woollen jumpers on now (1 Arran, 1 plain) and me wellies are still warm by the door.
What worries me is how you knew.

Re: Whats your latest purchase?
Now y`see, I think that is FAR prettier than the Yam. It may be the Blue that does it .Mitsui Spy wrote:My sartorial elegance apart, c'mon, it's a bit of a munter.
I can`t warm to red and white Yams. I DO like blue R`s and tz/tzrs in blue. ( Although, even with a blue TZR, which I had one of my best ever race years on on, I still fond an RGV far far prettier. )
( b.t.w You have worn your Arran and Wellies combo at Rallies. No shame, tut tut !!
I now have a nightmare vision of you ploughing a field with an RD500 towing a plow, wearing your Shetlands fashion gear !!! ....and for some reason smoking a pipe too !! Ochone ochone !!! )

Re: Whats your latest purchase?
It had been lightly crashed. The forks and frame were bent. You can see there's a dent in the back of the tank in the photo and scuffs on the rear plastics. I got a frame and logbook off Ebay for £100 ready painted, and the rest of the bits from Westgate Road in Newcastle for another £150. It was in 2005 and they were still cheap. I have recently acquired perfect S2 and a mint NS 400 R in rothman's colour scheme. I know, I'm greedy. I would love kennys yam though.
if you wish to quote me, that's fine. But please use the quote button provided, not a variation of my words.
