I have today posted out the tickets to those who are putting their bike(s) on club stand on the Avenue of Clubs. I think I captured everyone, but if you 're expecting a ticket from me and haven't got anything by this Friday (29th June), contact me ASAP. Supply is very limited and buying additional weekend passes cost £26 if ordered in advance (a £5 saving I think).

I agree. On reading the paperwork received it looks like it is first come first served regarding where you camp. It actually states if you want to camp in groups you need to enter at the same time to guarantee being together.

If we do decide to meet nearby i suggest the Mcdonalds car park in Hinckley near the triumph Factory.Its about 3 miles from Mallory and is on the route to the track from the A5, which i presume most people will be arriving by.

I've just replied to a PM from Adrian on this. I'd like to think that having asked for and been granted a designated camping area for 40 people, that this overrides the general ruling. However, I have asked the question, so I'll see what answer I get. From my viewpoint of getting in early to check out and set up the stand (not that there's a lot to do), I don't really want to be waiting for everyone to turn up before I go in; even with the best intentions, someone is going be late for one reason or another. Anyway, wait for an update in the next couple of days.

I assume that on arrival at the circuit that when we mention "Kawasaki Triples Club" then we should be directed to a reserved area

It makes sense as adie has suggested to arrive as a group which will probably help the organisers

Indeed the gates open to the general public (which means us) at 2pm, but for Avenue of Clubs set-up (i.e. me, my trusty friend Keith and anyone displaying only (so has the relevant pass)), the gates are open from 12, hence my not wanting to wait. That said, Roger's suggestion to group up if you can would indeed be a good idea to save hassle at the entrance, so let's start seeing your planned arrival times to see if co-ordination is possible (he's good with ideas that Roger!!). It sounds like this may revolve around Adrian as an experienced attendee and VMCC member (if that's OK with you ol' mate, buddy.... OK I'll buy you a pint!).

I've had a bit more info. from the VMCC. The name for layout of the grounds is Jason Lunn, so that's the name to quote for getting to the camping area if you meet with resistance. For Avenue of Clubs it's Annie Durrant; they are both aware we have a significant presence!!!

I'm planning to arrive for about 2 o'clock but can't guarantee as I'm coming from Newmarket in a tranny, and the A14 on a Friday can be a pile of shite...

A Chieftain Tank would have it's work cut out - they built the road without a hard shoulder, so anyone gets a puncture within minutes there's a 5 mile tailback with no way for the emergency services to reach (her...)

Boat gets in about 10am they lie that it's quicker.

I'll do my usual of looking even thicker than i am to get to camp area

You may want to hang onto that Boat & use it for getting to Mallory - It may well be a whole lot quicker!!

It's not looking good for me. With Mid-Ohio only a week and a half away,I will have to work on Friday and it's looking like I will also work the weekend

Can't win them all and Mid-Ohio is my main priority
