NOT ACTUALLY A TRIPLE

Bought this F7C back in July having recently been imported from the USA. Non runner but more or less all there. Seeing as it's original and has less then 3,000 recorded miles I decided to just do a general tidy up in order to get it MOT'd and registered. However, nothing is ever that simple. So, engine strip, re-bore, new piston and rings, rewire, new sealed beam unit, new rear tyre, new rear wheel bearings and a battery and she fired up 2nd kick.

Took it for a shake down run this afternoon and did 10 uneventful miles so all ready for MOT next Saturday.

Looking forward to a bit of off road fun after Christmas.

looking good although you might want to top up the oil tank unless you are running premix ?

We need a forum for F's ( I have a F9A ). Perhaps Mr Mow will set up a category on his site . After all F's are a bit more of the right era than KHs . In my humble opinion of course, but then I'm biased.

cheers

Pretty good service from Kawasaki, one week turn around and the dating certificate arrived today.

Manufactured on 21st June 1973, an early F7C.

The good news is that it'll qualify for historic tax once the changes take place.

I`ve got two of those things in my next container. Due end of June. ( Usual things permittimg, like US Customs etc  )

Both projects .Will be pretty cheap !! ( Oh, and an F9 Big Horn too. Same deal !! )

Anyone wants to come up to Wakefield to help unload, will obviously get a headstart on pick of bikes !!
