Kawasaki Triples Club

I walked away from it a Donnington but it gnawed away at me for days afterwards and after a bit of detective work I located the dealer. Now it is permanent fixture! Not a triple but so so cool.............



Plan is for a full restoration but even a quick scoot down the drive reminds me about how sharp, lively and power packed these bikes are. Front end goes very light in the first two gears, just off the throttle! A real diamond to ride and does not have the understeer that the triples have (in fact quite the opposite).

I used to ride the wheels off one of these back on the 70's but a short ride the other day was pretty scary! Brakes are so sharp too.

Had a 250 same style back in 83. Bought it as a pile of bits and ended up using it for a few months during that summer! Nice as a 250 but needs the extra you get from the 400.

Never owned one myself, but a number of my mates had them. One bought a 400E before his 17th birthday, so I test rode it from the dealer and one wheely later told him to buy it. I ferried him around for few weeks on it before he passed his test and very nearly flipped it with him on the back.

Great bikes even if they are 1 cylinder short of a full deck.

Got no dough now, just bikes. Sooner have bikes though.
