42 H1R-A"s made.
The ones that went to the American market were sold with no forks or front brakes as Kawasaki assumed they would change them anyway.
This one has ceriani forks and fontana front brake.
non standard rear shocks but does have the genuine rear wheel.
Note the air scoop just above the swing arm to try and keep it cool.
A very nice example

The alloy replica tank costing £175!
A work of art!
The Genuine H1R front brake found on a norton!
A mere £1800 and its still not on the bike!

OH yes, Im sooooo very lucky to have had the chance to do it but so many people put so much effort into the bike but the main men were Rog Ramm and Rick brett. with out those two it would never have happened
Testing at Jurby airfield Isle of man.
it just would not run right to begin with!

Yes, I agree Rick. What a good test day that was. I also remember the Honda suqad was parked next to us in the pit and the mechanic had forgotten to bring a socket that fitted the works bikes back wheel nut. He had to borrow one from my measley little "TEAM KAWASAKI" tool kit.

All in all one of my most memorable weeks in almost 59 years on this planet.
