A brill event for your diary.
2014 2-Stroke Gathering - Fri 5th & Sat 6th of September.
No mention as yet whether owt's on Sun the 7th. So i presume Friday night will be a few beers & Saturday will be the main event i.e - the rideout etc.
Its also 2 weeks earlier than last years event.
Will update when i have more info on the event.

Is there any camping / bed and breakfast facilities? Never done this one so would like to try and get up there.

I'll be there for the whole do this time Chris. As you know I had a very limited time window last year

However it was a nice 200 mile run for the H2C which enjoyed it nearly as much as I did

Last year's was loadsa fun, unless you went in a field! (not me) only problem was we had to jump on the back of a departing group (not knowing if they were going back or going home) 'cos although i know my way home we wanted to retrace the route back, anyway, a great day out

Weve taken a different route back to squires every year. [ lost] one year ended up near Humber bridge, , lots of good twisty roads tho..

Hi blackhat, I didn't mean it to sound as a criticism, I asked one of the organisers ( I think ) and he said there wasn't an organised run back, we know our way but not on them great twisties ! I'll get my map out for the next one and be better prepared !

I know the B166 takes you to A64. then off at Tadcaster . thats the back up if were really lost . But we always go cross country.
And theres a lot of wee roads, . hope to meet up this year dave,,,
