Van 2

After reading Wolfie's 'Van' post, it made me realise that this is probably the best place to ask...In a couple of weeks, I'm hiring either a LWB Ford Transit or LWB Vauxhall Movano (whichever is available) to collect 4 bikes and quite a few boxes of parts. Forgetting the boxes for a minute, do you think there will be enough room for the bikes?...they're all 350s by the way. I've looked at the internal space and to me, it looks very tight, possibly too tight?! I've never carried more than a couple of bikes in a van before and that was a while ago, so comments from those more experienced with this would be welcome.

Thanks, Steve

Hey Pete, that's really useful, thanks. Looks to be a bit more room than I thought!

If I remember rightly the rear bike had to have its front wheel between the the two front bike's,so not sure if you 'd get one behind the other if you've four to transport.sure you'd manage somehow thou

try get one with tie down points also

Cheers Pete...yes, tie downs are a must!
I was hoping to be able to get 3 across the van with the centre bike facing the rear...then the 4th bike at the back with as you say, the front wheel slotted between 2 bikes. Not sure how possible that is but we'll see.

Strap the front 2 down as Pete has done, but move the rear ends closer together, then put the other Two bikes on the outside with the front tyres nudging the exhaust pipes of the bikes in front . . .Sorted! Thumbs Up
