I am going to tax my H2b soon, will 1974 bikes/cars made in 1974 be exempt anytime soon, if ever, dose anyone know?

I think next year bikes /cars manufactured on or before jan 1974 can have their respective taxation class changed to "historic vehicle" and road fund licence will be free but you still have to apply for it,..... and also apply for change of taxation class,.....you will need form v10 I believe.

That prick Brown removed the 25 year exemption in 1997 when he took over as chancellor. Probably thought everybody who had older vehicles would be rushing to pay the road tax . What the prick actually achieved was people did not tax their vehicles and on top of that being unable to use them legally they were not using any fuel , so he lost that tax and vat. Him and his cronies are lucky they don`t have to get a proper job, they`d never survive.
