We are on holiday in Sorrento, Italy. Couple of months ago we arranged to meet Salvatore, who lives near Naples, and owns an unrestored, all original, european H2. He sent us a text Friday which said he would meet us at our hotel the next day. It was raining so we didn't expect him to bring his bike for us to see, but in true triple style he turned up with his H2 in a van. He's only 34, owns a number of bikes inlcuding a H1E and a Z1B.
Really enjoyed meeting up with him and his friend Giovanni and he will be wearing his club and triplesparts t-shirts with pride.

We will be back late Friday, so hope to see some of you at the Stafford show on Saturday.

What a fabulous bike. I hope no one goes and "restores" it for no good reason.

It is FANTASTIC for you to make new friends/contacts abroad. That's what is all about... small in numbers, but friends without boarders. Well done to all.

We are back home now, jeez what a change in the weather :(

Sì Vince, parla un po 'di italiano, Salvatore parlo un po' di inglese e quindi abbiamo gestito bene - I have Italian relatives, it helps a bit lol

I don't think Salvatore will know who Donny Osmond is tbh Roger but it made me laugh  :)

I'm so impressed Al, your Italian is far better than mine and both my parents are Italian!! - or did you use google translate? :D
