S3 paintwork, bit of advice please

My S3 turned from green to red around seven years ago according to what I could determine from all the paperwork.
I know the red is wrong for the year, but it is nice to look at.........apart from a couple of irritating blisters where the tank must have rusted and lifted the paint slightly

My options are:-

Have the tank repainted

Have the bike resprayed in the correct green

Buy another set of panels and have them painted green plus the current tank repainted......that way I could change colours to suit my mood type of thing!............could be expensive, of course, but worth it in the long run.

What to do?, I can't decide....but if I were to buy a tank and panels and have those painted there would be no downtime, so that's appealing............the red paint's wrong by a year or two, I think, but I do like it........plus the bikes a user, not a show pony, so does it really matter?

Any advice,would be appreciated.

If it was green originally should be a S3A, so what about the S3A red couloir scheme :?:

Yeah, the original red S3a paint is nice too........I could live with either the red or green. the bike did start off life as green though
