Well only 10 days before I leave for Italy, via Holland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Will be leaving from blighty on friday 12th sept, so sorry Delboy will miss the southern rally this year.
Trip will be +\- 2700 miles. Have checked everything on the bike the last thing will be to check all screws and bolts are tight.
Will get plenty of pics and do a write up for the magazine.
Cant wait.

Slight setback today. Hydraulic actuator for the clutch started to leak oil. Need to do to Ducati in Norwich and see if I can get a new seal off the shelf.
Better now than tomorrow night on the way to the ferry.

Hi all
Just a small update, forgot to bring my tablet. So using the hotel systam whenever possible.
Travelled down the B500 through the black forest yesterday. After lunch in Triberg, dropped the bike and broke the clutch master cylinder and lever. Booked into a hotel last night and managed to fix the clutch today. So the trip will continue tomorrow. But due to bad weather the route will change every day.
1000 miles so far. Only 10 days left.
All the good bits will be kept for the magazine, and so far soo many.

Glad to hear the drop didn't curtail the trip Nigel.. we came so close to it too but had even less damage.. I won't spill any beans either..
Those days disappear all too quickly, we might do a three weeker next year.
Keep the updates coming when you can, keep at least one hand on the bars tho..
