Just wanted to report the brilliant service I've recently received from Jim Hobbs at Lakeland Services. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

I've been meaning to get my old set of H2 ignition boxes refurbished for a couple of years and finally got around to removing the old electrics and compound earlier this year, followed by re-plating and passivating them. They then sat in the kitchen for months while I got around to sending them off to Lakeland, which never happened.

However, with a weeks holiday in Washington looming I decided to e-mail Jim and ask if he could refurb them for me if I took them with me to the States and posted them to him from there. I got an e-mail straight back asking how long I was going to be in the States. When I said a week he suggested I post them to him upon my arrival and he would do his best to get them back to the hotel before we headed home, thereby saving me quite a bit on shipping.

So, after a long days travelling on Friday we arrived at the hotel at 3:00pm. Straight down to the nearest post office and the ignition boxes were placed in a small box and shipped priority mail for $5.85 with a Monday delivery.

Monday afternoon I received an e-mail from Jim saying he had received the boxes and had the circuit boards ready and would do them later.

Tuesday afternoon another e-mail from Jim saying the boxes were complete and in the post. Delivery due on Thursday at the hotel.

Got back to the hotel late Thursday and collected the package from reception.

I know we don't acknowledge good service very much here in the UK and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Jim for his help, advice and can't praise the service enough.

Thanks Jim.
